We can receive payment in three different ways:
  • By Cheque. Make cheques payable in favour of Infoline Conferences Ltd. Please ensure that the Event Code (it will begin with KM6 and then have three more digits) is written on the back of the cheque.
  • By Bank transfer: Full details of bank transfer options will be given with your invoice on registration.
  • By Credit Card. You may submit your credit card details through our secure servers when placing your order. We accept:
VISA / MASTERCARD / DELTA / SWITCH / AMEX / SOLO

What are Infoline's refund and return policies?

If you confirm your cancellation in writing two weeks before the event, you will receive a refund less 10%+VAT service charge. Should you cancel between one and two weeks prior to the event, you will receive a refund less 50%+VAT service charge. Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received less than 7 days before the event. A substitute is always welcome at no extra charge.

All Infoline event documentation and publications come with a 10 day money back guarantee. If you are unhappy with your purchase simply return it undamaged and we will issue a full refund less a £37.50 process and shipping charge.

What is included in the fee for an event?

Registration fees include: attendance to the event sessions, event documentation and handouts, access to any exhibitions, coffee/tea breaks, three course lunch (for those delegates staying all day), as well as any advertised special functions, e.g. cocktail receptions.

How can I suggest some ideas / give you feedback?

We cannot develop our business and client services without your feedback and input. Please let us know what suggestions you have for future events, publications, reports, in-house training or industry surveys. We also welcome any feedback on how we might improve our services to clients.

What happens if I have to cancel my order?

Events
If you confirm your cancellation in writing two weeks before the event, you will receive a refund less 10%+VAT service charge. Should you cancel between one and two weeks prior to the event, you will receive a refund less 50%+VAT service charge. Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received less than 7 days before the event. A substitute is always welcome at no extra charge.

If you are unable to attend and would like to send a substitute in your place, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can ensure the booking details are updated. If you are unable to notify us before the event, please ask the person replacing you to make themselves known at the registration desk and to bring along their business card. Complete substitutions are welcome at anytime. We regret however that partial substitution, i.e. substituting after the event has begun or between sessions / days of the same event, is not permitted.

Publications/Surveys
All Infoline event documentation and publications come with a ten day money back guarantee. If you are unhappy with your purchase simply return it undamaged and we will issue a full refund less a £37.50 process and shipping charge. There will be no charge if the product has not been shipped.

Please note: all refunds can only be made to the person, or company, who originally purchased the product. Refunds will be made back to credit cards where they have been used to pay an invoice.

How can I find details of the event venue / location?

Venue details and maps will be sent to all registered delegates, speakers and guests approximately one month before the event. At the same time the event venue will be posted on the website. To access these details on our website just go to the event itself.

Alternatively, if you know the name of the venue and wish to have further details, just select the Event Locations side button on the home page (the third button down under the section entitled 'General'), this will list all our venues and locations together with additional and helpful information / maps.

How can I book accommodation?

Delegates are responsible for the arrangement and payment of their own travel and accommodation expenses. However, Infoline has organised a special room rate at a number of hotels. If you would like to take advantage of these rooms please call Venue Search on +44 (0)20 8546 6166 stating that you are an Infoline delegate.

What should I do if I have a special requirement?

Please notify us of any special needs you may have, i.e. dietary or wheelchair access, prior to the event. If you have not been able to do this, please inform a member of Infoline's staff at the event who will be pleased to assist you.

If you are hard of hearing, please let us know and we will arrange for seating either near the podium or next to a loudspeaker.

What is the dress code?

The dress code at the conference is business dress or smart casual. Speakers wear suits / business attire.

What happens when I first arrive at the event?

When you arrive at the venue you will be greeted by one of our staff who will hand you your name badge and any documentation you may need for the event. We try to ensure that copies of all the speaker presentations are included in the documentation. However, this is not always possible. In such cases we would hope to hand out any missing presentations during the day, or email them to you in the days following the event. Refreshments will be available upon arrival.

Following registration, you will be shown into the meeting room where, for the comfort and security of all our delegates and speakers, we kindly request that you do not smoke, and that mobiles and pagers are switched off. Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times. Please also immediately notify any hotel or Infoline staff about suspicious bags and / or packages or people.

If you need to leave while a speaker is giving their presentation we ask that you do this with the minimum of disturbance to the speaker and other delegates. If you require any assistance please contact a member of Infoline's staff who will be seated at the back of the room.

What happens if I am late to an event?

Do not worry. You will be shown to a seat reserved for latecomers at the back of the meeting room. If, after the next break, you wish to move to another seat you are free to do so.

How can I be contacted at the event?

The chairperson will announce a telephone number for all incoming messages during their introduction and welcome. This number will also be listed on the notice board at the registration desk.

If you are expecting an urgent message during the day please identify yourself, and where you are seated, to one of Infoline's staff, who will ensure the message is brought to you as soon as it arrives.

Any unexpected messages we receive for delegates during day will be displayed on the notice board in the registration area. If the message is urgent, and you have not previously identified yourself to a member of Infoline's staff, we will ask the chairman or workshop leader to make you aware as soon as possible.

Infoline events are normally held at venues with public telephones. If you cannot receive a signal on your mobile (or, indeed, if you are one of the fortunate few who does not have a mobile telephone!), and you do not have the necessary change for the public telephone, please ask for some at Infoline's registration desk (we always keep a spare bag of complimentary 20p pieces for just such occasions).

How can I make the most of my time at an Infoline event?

Questions raised by delegates at an event help enhance the focus and depth of the learning experience for everyone. We therefore encourage you to put forward your questions and / or comments to the speakers at the end of each presentation.

If you prefer to submit your questions in writing a form will be available from the event registration desk. This will be handed to the event chairperson or workshop leader by one of Infoline's staff.

If you have registered online you will notice you have the opportunity to submit your questions / comments in advance (located on the event sidebar buttons). We encourage all delegates to do this as it enables us to forward your comments to the speakers in advance of the events, thus ensuring your particular concern is addressed more comprehensively. Please note all questions will be anonymous, unless you specifically ask us to inform the speakers of your name and company.

Alternatively, if you have not registered online but would like to submit any questions or comments prior to the event, to ensure they are given priority on the day, please email Spencer Keyworth of Infoline at skeyworth@infoline-uk.com giving the name and date of the specific event you are attending. Any email or question sent will be submitted to speakers anonymously.

Are there any specific networking opportunities?

Upon arrival at Infoline's registration desk you will see a list of other delegates attending the same event. Should you wish to take the opportunity to meet and network with a particular delegate, please notify Infoline staff at the registration desk and they will endeavour to facilitate an introduction.

If you would like to sponsor, exhibit or advertise at one of Infoline's events please click here.
